STEIN DEFENDER Chainsaw Boot
Reliable Protection. Built for Performance.
The STEIN DEFENDER is a high-performance chainsaw boot designed for professionals who need dependable protection and comfort in tough working environments. Certified to Class 2 Chainsaw Protection (24 m/s) and EN ISO 20345:2012 S3, this technical safety boot combines safety, durability, and comfort in one design.
Built to Withstand the Elements
Made from premium Italian PERWANGER® leather, the DEFENDER offers outstanding water-repellence and breathability. This industry-leading leather is known for its durability and resistance to abrasion, making it ideal for demanding outdoor use. Added protection to the toe and heel is provided by a robust rubber rand that shields against knocks and scrapes.
Comfort That Lasts All Day
A climate-regulating waterproof membrane maintains breathability while protecting against external moisture. Anatomical padding and a padded tongue provide superior comfort and support during long periods of wear.
Traction and Stability
The VIBRAM® TETON sole features a bi-directional lug pattern for exceptional grip, braking, and stability. Its self-cleaning design prevents debris build-up, while the asymmetrical heel delivers secure footing and natural movement on uneven terrain.

Important Safety Information
No PPE can offer 100% protection against handheld chainsaw hazards. Always ensure the product is suitable for your application and follow all manufacturer safety instructions and training requirements.
Sizing & Fit Guidance
When selecting your boots:
Choose a size that allows your toes to move freely without pressing the front.
Avoid excessive heel lift—if there’s more than a finger width, the boot volume is too large.
If unsure between sizes, opt slightly larger (extra socks can improve fit).
Wherever possible, try on your boots at an authorised STEIN dealer to confirm the correct size.
Please note: once worn, boots cannot be returned if the incorrect size was purchased.
